Overview
The tour starts with a visit to Sougia which is a famous village at the South region of Chania.
Lissos Gorge offers a scenic hiking trail that starts near Sougia and leads to the ancient city of Lissos. Lissos Ancient City is situated at the end of Lissos Gorge, near the southern coast of Crete. Lissos was an ancient city with a significant history dating back to the Minoan period. It served as an important harbor and religious center. The city reached its peak during the Hellenistic and Roman periods, and its remains provide valuable insights into the island’s past.
